Additional Notes: The Russian M91, also known as the Mosin-Nagant Model 1891, is a historic bolt-action rifle that has played a significant role in military history. First developed in 1891, the M91 was the standard infantry rifle for the Russian Empire and later the Soviet Union, seeing extensive use in both World Wars and various other conflicts throughout the 20th century. Chambered in 7.62x54mmR, it features a 29-inch barrel, a five-round internal magazine, and a durable wooden stock, typically made from birch or other native woods. Renowned for its ruggedness and reliability in harsh conditions, the M91 was designed to be easy to manufacture and maintain, making it a staple in the Russian arsenal. The Mosin-Nagant’s simple yet effective design has made it a favorite among collectors and historical firearms enthusiasts, symbolizing the resilience and ingenuity of Russian military engineering.
