Out of the box the quality behind the Model 1 really shine. Each model 1 is hand built and inspected. This attention to detail not only leaves you with a rifle that is perfectly matched in finish along the lower, upper, and hand guard but also perfect tolerances along each part. The billet machined upper and lower are sturdy and feature a unique design only found in model 1 builds.
The rifle’s weight is in the perfect range of where you would want your rifle to be at. Coming in right under 7lbs, the model 1 is light and versatile. You can easily add an optic, light, other accessories of your choice without having to worry about making your rifle too heavy.
The billet lower sports an ambidextrous magazine and bolt release along with an ambi Radian Talon Safety Selector. For trigger, Radian includes their Radian Vertex Single Stage Trigger that comes in around 3.5 – 4lb pull. The vertex design gives the user a nice even clean trigger pull every time.
