First Impressions of the Smith & Wesson M&P9 2.0 Spec Series 2021
Right away, I really appreciate the overall presentation of the Spec Series Collectible kit. It’s hard to tell from the photos, but factory Smith & Wesson hard case is massive! As you break it open you start to find out why. The color scheme of the bronze slide on black frame is a really nice touch and has a great appeal to it in person. The matching boot knife looks really cool next to the pistol and the challenge coin is a great display piece.
Once picked up, the M&P9 2.0 has a really great feel and balance to it. Plenty of room on the frame for the larger handed shooters. The included red dot and suppressor height sights is also a really nice touch.

- M&P Collectable Boot Knife
- Smith & Wesson Spec Series Challenge Coin
What Are the specs of the M&P9 2.0 Spec Series 2021?

Is the Spec Series 2021 worth the money?
At the time of writing this blog post, the 2021 Spec Series is currently listed at $879 at ECPOutdoors.com. At that price tag, I think you start looking at this model as more of a collectable series. Perhaps you already bought the 2020 model. This 2021 would pair very nicely with last years model. However with that price tag if you don’t care about the entire kit, you may want to look for just the gun itself. Otherwise, I think the kit as a whole is very nice and would be a great addition to any Smith & Wesson fan’s current arsenal.
